Delete your Shelfcook account
You can delete your account and everything tied to it at any time. Three routes, same result. Export your data as JSON first if you want a copy.

In the app
Open Settings, then Data, and tap Delete account. Confirm once. The request is processed within 30 days and confirmed by email.

Sign in at shelfcook.app/app, open Settings, and use Delete account. The same schedule applies.

By request
Email support@shelfcook.app from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm the request by replying to that address, then delete within 30 days. No sign-in is needed for this route.
What is removed
| Data | What happens |

| Account and profile | Email, display name, handle, avatar, sign-in identities, unit and notification preferences, and consent records |
| Household and pantry | Your household, member profiles, pantry items, grocery lists, saved recipes, cook log, and generated recipes |
| Scan and generation records | Scan job records (no photos exist to delete) and generation cache rows |
| Devices | Push tokens for your phones, so no notification is ever sent again |
| Subscription link | The link between your account and your App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription itself in your store settings before deleting, since deleting the account does not stop billing |
| Support tickets and privacy requests | Kept up to 3 years from closing for legal reasons, then deleted or anonymized |
